"Man"

What is our true nature?

When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

Genesis 5:1

Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it."

Genesis 1:26

Not just hearsay and blind faith — the old familiar rattling of our mind — but a loving, and brave hunger for what is the most important in life... Life is precious; this minute never comes back.

Detoxing from Adam's sin -- our character arc in this life, here and now.

‘Son, you are always with me,’ the father said, ‘and all that is mine is yours. But it was fitting to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’”…

Do we wait for" God" to do something?

What is our aim in life?

What is spirituality?

What are we really looking for?

See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.

Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Luke 10:20

Where do we miss the mark?

We lost touch with Life. Our knowing got reduced to the capacity of our thinking mind. Our thinking mind -- our servant -- runs the show instead to serve us.

"Life is not what we think it is, but life becomes what we think it is."

Our thinking is an important tool to understand where we are trapped; but our freedom, our peace and happiness is beyond thinking, here and now.

Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place."

John 18:36

This other place is dimensionless; it is the eternal, unchanging, pristine presence in which time and space are being perceived in you, here and now.

It is like a feelingless feeling, a placeless place.

Why does it take so many years to reacquaint ourselves with our true nature? We are trapped in language; a wonderful language that is perfect for "this world" of duality.

Jesus invited a little child to stand among them.

“Truly I tell you,” He said, “unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.…

Matthew 18:3

Who or what is the character Jesus in the Bible? How does "Jesus" relate to my here and now? Am I waiting for something to come, to be added unto me; or am I discovering something heretofore overlooked by me; overlooked, because it is too simple, too obvious?

If our mind is always cluttered and busy being busy, then there is little chance to be open to receive fresh insights and energy. [The parable of the sower and the prepared ground (mind).]

"If I use the word God or the word Christ, the word Jesus, the word Lord, and in any way it conveys the sense of an existent someone or something outside of yourself, you have the wrong concept of God or Christ."

Jesus called the crowd to Him and said, “Listen and understand. A man is not defiled by what enters his mouth, but by what comes out of it.” Then the disciples came to Him and said, “Are You aware that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”…
