We lost touch with Life. Our knowing got reduced to the capacity of our thinking mind. Our thinking mind -- our servant -- runs the show instead to serve us.
"Life is not what we think it is, but life becomes what we think it is."
Our thinking is an important tool to understand where we are trapped; but our freedom, our peace and happiness is beyond thinking, here and now.
This other place is dimensionless; it is the eternal, unchanging, pristine presence in which time and space are being perceived in you, here and now.
It is like a feelingless feeling, a placeless place.
Why does it take so many years to reacquaint ourselves with our true nature? We are trapped in language; a wonderful language that is perfect for "this world" of duality.
Who or what is the character Jesus in the Bible? How does "Jesus" relate to my here and now? Am I waiting for something to come, to be added unto me; or am I discovering something heretofore overlooked by me; overlooked, because it is too simple, too obvious?
If our mind is always cluttered and busy being busy, then there is little chance to be open to receive fresh insights and energy. [The parable of the sower and the prepared ground (mind).]
