Demystifying God – embracing the gift of Life
Holger: The earth is flat, and we are separate and apart from the Source of Life.
Disclaimer: This website is not for entertainment; our suffering is serious, but we need lots of humor to consider our own faulty thinking and identity. My interest is not in religion, but to step out from the slavery of believing, into the Light of knowing.
“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are as red as crimson, they will become like wool. 19If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best of the land.…"
It is a precious gift to exercise mind and speech; to learn how to do a little self-directed thinking on our own.
So far our thinking was mostly influenced by outer stimulation, by our mother, our sense impulses, by automatic biology...
Father, mother, sister, brother, family, friends, lovers, neighbors, teachers, TV, priests, gurus, motivational speakers, politicians..., who all tried their best according to their own genes and up-to-date conditioning.
But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.
If we want to claim our freedom and love for life, we have to do some work, totally on our own!
We are given the gift to discover who I AM, the opportunity to decipher the metaphors of life, beyond assumption, hope, hearsay and gossip.
If we don't aware the nature of our own mind and being, our thinking and feeling remains faulty.
The Good News is that -- essentially -- there is nothing wrong with us.
Our redemption, our freedom, is not in a progression in time and space, but the recognition of our true nature, here and now.
Here and now we have the priceless opportunity to do some fun-da-mental soul searching in order to discover how we create and defend our own suffering.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom. 33Sell your possessions [let go of your attachments] and give to the poor. Provide yourselves with purses that will not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven [Peace of mind], where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.…
Belief, hope and assumptions serve as a cocoon, until we mature enough to embrace that life is much more beautiful and benevolent than what our senses and brain try to sell us as reality.
"For Wisdom dealt with mortal powers,
Where truth in closest words shall fail,
When truth embodied in a tale
Shall enter in at lowly doors."
But their minds were closed. For to this day the same veil remains at the reading of the old covenant. It has not been lifted, because only in Christ can it be removed.
Yes, we need to decipher the metaphors, symbols and pointers and do a little thinking outside the box of what we believe to know (and defend).
We don't need a mediator, a translator for the final self-confirming seeing, but we need any help we can get to explore our own inner boundaries and faulty assumptions.
It needs lots of love and faith to question our thinking and to be willing to embrace our own darkness and mental confetti.
Where to start? Maybe just by being curious and open like a little child; unburdened by all the suffering and false conclusions the adult gathered and calls "me".
You pore over the Scriptures because you presume that by them you possess eternal life. These are the very words that testify about Me [I AM], yet you refuse to come to Me to have life.…
The Bible can easily feel intimidating, confusing, sticky and dark! But hang around and discover the Light cradling and nurturing your own mind and heart.
Question authority -- including your own thinking --, develop a hunger for truth; discover the depth of your own Being. Don't get lost in the shallowness of your own person, don't feel sorry for yourself, but look into your own heart.
"Pick up your bed and walk"
Go the extra mile of not blaming an assumed outer, don't wait for circumstances to change! Get clear about your own seeking: What do I really want?
Invite radical openness! Surround yourself with uplifting scriptures that warm your heart; not as a pain-killer but as an encouragement to develop hunger and loyalty for the truth.
What you are seeking and longing for cannot come to you in time and space, because it is yOur true nature, Christ -- the wisdom and power of God, our connection with and as Source/Life/Love/Universe.
"Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory"
The word glory points to the presence of Source in you, which can only operate for the one who is aware of it. Discover where the word 'God' points to! Not the god of your childhood fantasies, pains and hopes, but the living, vibrating cause of the phenomena of life, at the core of your own Being.
Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap; they have no storehouse or barn, yet God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than the birds! 25Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his lifespan? 26So if you cannot do such a small thing, why do you worry about the rest?…
Unaware thinking can be like the enemy in our own house.
Self-directed freedom thinking is the sword that severs the adhesions of our own ignorance.
Our thinking is like a thorn to remove a thorn that is embedded in our foot: once the thorn has been removed we happily throw both thorns away.
Thinking is our skillful and strong servant, but it is a cruel and unjust master.
The seeming problem is that we too strongly identify with our thinking as "me". We assume too much, and fear for our little life when it comes to examining the nature of our own mind and person.
Two important concepts about thinking:
"Working Mind" -- needed to function in life, to be practical, to deal with circumstances; for example to read and process this web page.
"Thinking Mind" -- the part in us that renders a faulty sense of "me" as a separate-self that is seemingly cut off from Life/Source/God (Consciousness).
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you— unless you actually fail the test? 6 And I hope you will realize that we have not failed the test.…
We could read and talk for the rest of time, without realizing the simplicity and magnificence of God's gift given to us!
We have to wake up and see what IS, beyond the dark glasses of our own faulty thinking and feeling.
The ransom has been paid, but we need to embrace the gift given to us!
God gives us the most delicious and nutritional food, but we need to chew it ourselves, here and now.

PS: It is not easy to "talk" about this. All my words are just relative pointers to encourage and aid in our own discovery.
Please don't feel intimidated by your own suffering in the form of blame, shame, guilt, pride, expectations, attachment to outcome, worry and anxiety!
All of those feelings are precious gifts that can guide us back to the core of Being, if you don't escape into busyness or incessant thinking; distractions and escapes can be very subtle.
Go the extra mile and see the trap of 'this world' in your own understanding.
The character Jesus in the Bible is our unique and individual journey from the slavery of faulty thinking/feeling -- sin -- into the discovery of Life as God's perfect creation, here and now.
Outgrow your waiting, your hopes and believes; invite the meekness of unveiling the truth, through radical openness; leaving no stone unturned.
Investigating our own uncounted "I don't like this", exploring the one who suffers in us, learning how to think... doing some basic homework.
Keep your seeking very practical!
